Industrial Carbon Dioxide Emission by Simmone Cruz, Stacey Diaz, Annie Dorneval, Micaela Ferrari, & Kylor Garcia

Abstract

Human activities are changing the carbon cycle of our planet both by adding more CO2 to the climate, and by impacting the capacity of natural sinks, like forests and soils, to eliminate and store CO2 from the environment. While CO2 outflows come from an assortment of natural sources, human-related emissions are accountable for the growth that has happened in the environment since the industrial revolution. The research on industrial emissions highlights the impact CO2 pollution has on the planet, our health, and the economy.
