Abstract
I chose this topic because I wanted to learn not only about myself, but also about the human mind in general. What drives people to succeed and what forces people to fall off their passions? As a writer I feel that I have the power to say something that really needs to be said, and I felt this was a topic of importance that anyone, no matter the person’s background, life situation, or age category could relate to. In the current age of the internet we live in the age of great opportunity, at the same time in the age of the internet we also live with high pressure and high expectations to succeed. In this project I wanted to discuss my findings on the psychology behind living up to your full potential ad achieving your goals, supplemented with varying perspectives and stories of people who have defied the odds and lived up to the best of their potential.
