Dean Hagler Jaen: Article 4 - Digital Rendering
Statement
I wanted my artwork to reflect the two parts of my project in its entirety. The first part of my work shows the mind while being enslaved, while the second shows the mind after being freed. With my artwork, I wanted to capture these two moments at the same time. The mind is in the process of being freed from its suppression, while the environment and subject shows pain and suffering. The tears streaming down the subject's eyes are that of happiness because they know soon it will all be over.
