Statement
With my art, I wanted to represent the right to freedom that every person should have, regardless of their skin color, where we come from, if we are women or men, what orientation we have, or even what we believe in. We all have the freedom to express ourselves as we please, in the way we want and when we want. We are complete human beings in spite of the "defects" that we are often called. We are unique in our own ways. I wanted to represent all of this with my artwork, since it is a constant struggle that each person affected faces day-by-day.
Rights do not only apply to a select group of people. On the other hand, we should all have the same freedom, even if it takes time. I only ask myself this question: Is this America?
