Hi! My name is Nuhkyra Simmons and this is my first time participating in the Excellence Across the Curriculum Symposium. I am a first year student and my major is accounting. After graduating from MDC with my AA next year, I plan to further my education at a Florida institution where I will pursue my Bachelors degree. Here at Dade, I’ve had the opportunity to engage with my wonderful peers and even became a tutor this semester. I have faith that the path i’m on now will take me far in life to be prosperous.
