Alex de la Ossa is a first-year student at Miami Dade College. They are pursuing a degree in Environmental Science to become an Urban and Agriculture City Planner. They are doing a full-time dual enrollment program called early admissions instead of their final year of high school. Alex started a business called Beads by Bibi and has been selling jewelry, art, and clothes since 2020. Alex has been repurposing, altering, and customizing vintage or broken jewelry for their customers for four years. They also have expanded their ventures by taking clothing donations from community members and offering consignment deals. Their main goal is to unite and offer resources to their community as much as they can.
