Badr Mehdad is a pre-medical student at Miami Dade College, where he is completing coursework to fulfill medical school requirements. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University. On campus, Badr serves as a science tutor and contributes as an editor for the organic chemistry lab manual. Beyond the classroom, he actively volunteers in the emergency room and mentors elementary school students through the I Have a Dream Foundation, showcasing his passion for service and community engagement. Additionally, Badr is collaborating with Dr. Yolanda Bonilla with clinical research on treatment approaches for massive pulmonary embolism. Through his academic, clinical, and research experiences, Badr is building a well-rounded foundation for a future career in medicine.
