Temiloluwa Alagbe is a second-year student at the Miami Dade Honors College- North Campus majoring in English Literature/Education with plans to become a journalist or a writer in the film industry. Her campus involvement includes serving as co-secretary for AXIS literary arts magazine, staff writer for the MDC Reporter, and 2023 Miami Book Fair Ambassador. Some of her previous experience in research comes from being a student researcher in the Humanities Edge program in the spring and fall of 2023, and she hopes to continue after transferring to a four-year institution. Outside of academia, she enjoys writing poetry, reading, and painting.
Gerald Aleman is a freshman currently trying to achieve a future in the medical field, therefore he enrolled into Miami Dade College to get an A.A. Degree in Pre-Nursing. Having family that work as nurses, Gerald also wants to become a nurse and provide a necessary service. He was an honor roll student in high school. He also enjoys learning about medical practices and writing.
Zalman Broocker is a first-year student at Miami Dade College. He is pursuing a degree in veterinary technology, and possibly will continue to pursue a bachelor's in biological sciences, to become a veterinarian. His interests are in science and language, and plans to study these fields. He enjoys reading science fiction books, as well as watching videos about biology.
