Re-imagining the Basics of Running a Tutoring Session

In this session, we will cover some of the basics of running a tutoring session, from how to begin the session, what concepts to cover, how to deal with time constraints, different student personalities and situations, and what approaches work best in particular situations. We will also discuss how experienced tutors have had to change their approaches to running a tutoring session in an on-line context and provide tips and provide suggestions to new tutors as they begin their careers.
