Ileana Carballosa, STEM Success Center Manager, Padron Campus
Luis Rodriguez, Math Faculty, Padron Campus
This session will showcase how STEM faculty and tutors have leveraged freely available software to maximize student learning in the traditional and remote classroom. Using OneNote and a Surface Pro tablet, Dr. Rodriguez delivers a highly visual and interactive lesson that can be recorded for later viewing and reviewing, thus appealing to all learning levels in his class. STEM lab tutors will demonstrate how to further support student academic success through the integration of Active Inspire Software into Blackboard for use during a tutoring session or in a classroom. This workshop aims to demonstrate how the effective use of technology can equalize the learning process among students.
