In this presentation, we explain how faculty and embedded technologists collaborated to design an innovative model for (a) utilizing iCED’s Civic Action Scorecard, assigning pandemic-proof civic actions that can be carried out without health risks, and (b) supporting students in creating their civic action e-portfolios in ENC 1101. We will showcase how students used their imagination to create stunning portfolios. We will share what students thought of this project. We will close the presentation with best practices for faculty who wish to incorporate similar assignments and for tutors and technologists who are supporting similar projects. Our collaboration targeted MDC Learning Outcomes #4, 8, and 9 and Strategic Goals #1- #4.
